Schroeder, Aznar to confer on Europe`s Iran initiative: official
IRNA
Berlin, Nov 3, IRNA -- German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar are to hold talks on the latest European nuclear accord with Iran during Tuesday`s Ibero-German summit in Berlin, a German official said. "Discussions will focus on the situation in Iraq, the European initiative in Iran, the Mideast conflict as well as the European constitution," German government spokesman Bela Anda told the press Monday. Schroeder and Aznar will be joined by key ministers from their respective government during the two-day consultations, slated to begin Monday. Relations between Madrid and Berlin soured during the Iraq war over Spain`s hardline support for the American invasion of Iraq. OT/AH/210 End
