IRNA
Tehran, Oct 18, IRNA -- Tehran and a three-man team from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) began their new round of talks here on Saturday on legal and technical aspects of Iran`s nuclear program and its eventual accession to the additional protocol of nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). According to informed sources, the talks are a follow-up to Thursday`s visit of IAEA Director General Mohammad ElBaradei to Tehran. During his visit, ElBaradei held talks with Iran`s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Hojatoleslam Hassan Rowhani on future cooperation between Iran and the agency. Rowhani had in the talks stressed that Tehran is ready to remove the IAEA ambiguities on Iran`s nuclear activities. He also called on the IAEA to clarify the ambiguities in the NPT and relieve Iran`s concerns over the treaty. 216/AH/210 End
