It is time for Iran to sign additional protocol, Powell says

New York, Sept 14, IRNA -- US Secretary of State Colin Powell said on 
Sunday that it is time for Iran to sign additional protocol and 
satisfy the international community that Iran is not developing 
programs for nuclear weapons. 
In an interview with Fox news TV, Powell said that It`s a matter 
that will be put before the Security Council for action the Security 
Council might deem appropriate. 
"But I wouldn`t prejudge that until we see what Iran does after it
reflects on what it is now facing, which is the will of the 
international community coming together to say, `you have violated 
your obligations, and it is time for you to sign additional protocol 
and satisfy the international community that you are not developing 
programs for nuclear weapons`," Powell said.
