Shahab-Missile-Testfire
  Iran successfully test-fires Shahab 3 missile  
Tehran, July 15, IRNA -- Ministry of Defense successfully test-fired  
the Shahab 3 missile for the second time on Saturday morning, an      
informed source at the Defense Ministry said here Saturday.           
    According to the source, the second test-fire of the missile was  
aimed at examining the scientific standards of the missile.           
    The source further said that the missile was test-fired for the   
second time to upgrade the defense power of the country in line with  
its policy of deterrence.                                             
    The source made it clear that the missile has been developed for  
defense puposes and poses no threat to any country in the world.
