Indian Parliament has been adjourned for the day following uproar over the Indo-US nuclear deal where the BJP- ed opposition demands scrapping of the Indo-US nuclear deal and voting in both Houses on the deal.
Both houses of parliament, Lok Sabha (Lower House) and Rajya Sabha (Upper House) were adjourned for the day following uproarious scenes over the Indo-US nuclear deal.
The proceedings in Rajya Sabh was stalled as it was set to hold discussion on the Indo-US nuclear deal Thursday.
Angry over the constitution of the UPA-Left committee on nuclear deal the BJP-led opposition demanded its scrapping and voting in both Houses on the deal at the end of a debate.

The same situation prevailed in the Lok Sabha as well.
The opposition demanded voting in both Houses on the deal at the end of a debate.
As no business could take place even after suspending proceedings twice, the speaker adjourned the Lok Sabha for the day.
Meanwhile, Parliamentary Affairs minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi has clarified that the UPA-Left committee on the nuclear deal was outside the purview of parliament.
He also rejected an opposition demand for forming a Joint Parliamentary Committee on the issue.
