Indo-US talks on nuclear proliferation concludes

India and the United States concluded the two-day bilateral talks on ways to meet the global challenges of nuclear proliferation and threat of nuclear terrorism.
Discussions covered a wide range of issues, including global nuclear non-proliferation challenges, export controls and regional and global efforts to prevent proliferation, an External Affairs Ministry spokesman here Thursday.
At the two-day talks the Indian side was led by Additional Secretary (International Organisations) in the External Affairs Ministry K C Singh while the US delegation is headed by Acting Under Secretary of State for International Security and Non-Proliferation John C Rood.
During his visit, Rood also called on Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon and Special Envoy of Prime Minister Shyam Saran.
