India's sophisticated short-range, surface-to-air missile Trishul was test-fired twice from the integrated test range (ITR) at Chandipur-on-sea, about 15 kilometers from Balasore in Orissa state, today.
It was the second since yesterday that the test was conducted, a PTI report said here quoting defence sources.
The missile was test-fired from a mobile launcher at 1415 hours IST (Indian Standard Time). A second missile was released after a few seconds.
In both tests, a microlight aircraft in the sky was made the target, the sources said.
Trishul was also test-launched from the same range yesterday.
