A MIG-29 fighter jet of the Indian Air Force crashed today on an island near Jamnagar city in Gujarat state during a routine sortie.
Both the pilots of the aircraft had managed to eject safely before the plane crashed, a PTI report said here quoting Indian Air Force sources.
The pilots have been admitted to a local hospital for treatment, the sources said, adding that an investigation was on to ascertain the exact reason for the crash.
