Two pilots killed in IAF aircraft crash

Two pilots of Indian Air Force (IAF) 'Surya Kiran' aerobatic team were killed when their plane crashed into a paddy field on Saturday.
It occurred near the air force training centre in Bidar town, 735 km (460 miles) north of Bangalore, where the team is based.
The mishap occurred when the tail of one plane hit another during a training exercise, PTI report said here.
The damaged plane crashed into a toor dal field in Naubad on the outskirts of Bidar, about 700 kilometers from Bangalore, a capital city of Karnataka.
The aircraft was on a routine training sortie when the mishap occurred, a spokesman of the IAF said.
An inquiry had been ordered into the crash, the spokesman added.
