IAF`s Jaguar plane crashes near Bikaner, pilot safe

New Delhi, Jan 4, IRNA -- An Indian Air Force Jaguar plane today crashed near Bikaner in Rajasthan, a senior police official said in Jaipur. The pilot ejected using a parachute and was safe, Additional Superintendent of Police (Bikaner) Giriraj Meena told. The plane crashed in a farm in an Indian village 20 kilometers from Bikaner. The pilot was taken to a military hospital for examination, he added. The plane, on a routine sortie, fell on the farm and caught fire at around 11 a.m. soon after it had left the Nal Airbase in Bikaner district. No one was injured on the ground. 2160/2321/1432
