
Leaders of China, NK will hold talks to exchange in-depth views on bilateral relations and issues of common concern: Chinese FM

When asked to provide relevant information, as no details have been released regarding whether the leaders of China and North Korea will meet, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Thursday that, at the invitation of President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), is visiting China to attend the commemorative events on September 3. The leaders of the two parties and countries will hold talks to exchange in-depth views on China-North Korea relations and issues of common concern.
Guo emphasized that Kim's attendance at the commemorative events and the talks between the top leaders of the two parties and countries carry significant importance. China is willing to work with North Korea to strengthen strategic communication, enhance exchanges and cooperation, deepen the sharing of governance experiences, and advance the development of their respective socialist causes and the traditional friendly cooperative relations between China and North Korea, the spokesperson said.
