Economic Sectors Record More Achievements in Production

Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- Various economic sectors and units of the DPRK are achieving more successes in production in close cooperation with each other.
Officials, workers and technicians in the electric-power industrial sector strive to generate more electricity needed for the production revitalization in other sectors.
Pyongyang and East Pyongyang thermal power plants have carried out their production plans without fail by concentrating efforts on raising the output of power per generator and the boiler combustion efficiency while steadily increasing the electricity production.
The Anju Area Coal-Mining Complex and other coal-mining complexes have made innovations in production to provide the electric-power industrial sector with much more coal.
Officials and workers in the machine-building industry, too, step up the production of custom-built equipment necessary for various economic sectors.
The Taean Heavy Machine Complex, the Anju Insulating Material Factory, the Pyongyang Electric Cable General Factory 326 and the Ryangchaek Bearing Factory are pushing ahead with the production of equipment and materials for metal, chemical and coal industrial sectors and farms.
