DPRK Farms Take Steps to Cope with Abnormal Weather

Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- Farms in South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK focus on cultivating crops while taking proper measures to overcome the effects of disastrous abnormal weather.

Officials of the provincial, city and county agricultural guidance organs scrupulously organize the immediate farm work.

They learned in detail about reservoirs, tide-water control dykes and river banks vulnerable to danger and about how pumping and power equipment are operated, before taking proper countermeasures. -0-
