Power Production Plan for July Fulfilled
Korean Central News Agency of DPRK
Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the electric power industry of the DPRK over-fulfilled their national economic plans for July while simultaneously pushing ahead with the current production and adjustment and reinforcement.
Officials of the Ministry of Electric Power Industry and relevant units promoted practical success and substantial progress in the production by finding themselves at power stations and plants to generalize the successes and experience of advanced units and overcome deviations.
The hydro-power sector perfected an integrated power control system to put the management of water on a scientific basis and raised the operation rate of generating equipment while regularly conducting the checkup and repair of structures.
The Pukchang Thermal Power Complex and Pyongyang and Chongchongang thermal power plants increased the steam production by raising the combustion efficiency of their boilers and strictly observed the technical rules and standard regulations in the operation of turbo-generators, thus over-fulfilling their daily plans.
Officials and workers in the electric power industry are now striving to boost the production, not content with their achievements. -0-
