The launches come just a month after Pyongyang reportedly tested eight short-range ballistic missiles.
North Korea launched several missiles on Sunday, Yonhap News Agency reported citing the South Korean military. According to the report, the military detected traces of the supposed launches at around 9:21 - 9:37 GMT. It went on to claim that Pyongyang probably used Multiple Rocket Launchers (MRP) for the tests.
No additional details were provided in the report.
DPRK has intensified its launches of ballistic missiles and other projectiles in 2022. Since the beginning of the year, Pyongyang has carried out at least 18 missile tests, some of them reportedly using hypersonic weapons.
According to North Korean state media, the nation also tested a "new-type tactical guided weapon" earlier this year, saying it would strengthen the country's "tactical nuclear operation".
