Medicines for Preventing Novel Coronavirus Infection Produced in DPRK

Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- The Biomedicine Institute of the Academy of Medical Science in the DPRK has recently increased the production of medicines amid a brisk campaign for preventing the novel coronavirus infection.
According to Ri Chol Jun, vice-director of the institute, interleukin-2 injections and spleukin spray, which are believed to be efficacious against novel coronavirus, have been urgently produced and supplied to the border passing spots, airports and harbors.
Meanwhile, a research work is going on to develop new antiviral agents. -0-
