Construction of Orangchon Power Station No. 4 Hastened

Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- The construction of Orangchon Power Station No. 4 in North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK is progressing apace at the final stage.
Its builders has already completed the dam project and finished the extension tunneling in some sections of waterway tunnel extending several thousand meters.
They also concluded the assembling of generating equipment including turbine generator.
They are now pushing ahead with the extension tunneling in the rest sections of the waterway tunnel and the concrete tamping, while stepping up the assembling of iron-pipe conduit linking waterway tunnel to generator room and perfecting the system of transmission network. -0-
