President Xi Jinping Leaves Here

Pyongyang, June 22 (KCNA) -- Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People's Republic of China (PRC), who paid a state visit to the DPRK at the invitation of Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, left Pyongyang on Friday afternoon by his personal plane after winding up his successful visit.
Supreme Leader of the Party, state and armed forces Kim Jong Un together with his wife Ri Sol Ju saw off President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan at Pyongyang International Airport.
Kim Jong Un and his wife came out to the airport to see off Xi Jinping and his wife.
Present at the airport were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, Party and government officials Ri Man Gon, Ri Su Yong, Choe Hwi, Kim Yong Chol, Ri Yong Ho, Kim Nung O and Kim Yo Jong, and Ji Jae Ryong, DPRK ambassador to China.
Seen there were Kim Su Gil, Ri Yong Gil, No Kwang Chol and other commanding officers of the Korean People's Army.
Li Jinjun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and members of his embassy here were also seen.
Cars carrying close Chinese friends arrived at the airport amid the warm send-off by the citizens.
Kim Jong Un and Ri Sol Ju warmly took hands of Xi Jinping and Peng Liyuan who got off a car, and exchanged greetings with them.
A ceremony took place to see off Xi Jinping.
Kim Jong Un, together with Xi Jinping, reviewed the guard of honor of the KPA.
Xi Jinping and Peng Liyuan were presented with bouquets by pretty children.
The top leaders of the two countries respectively exchanged farewell with the officials of each other's side.
Kim Jong Un and Xi Jinping exchanged firm handshake of farewell, promising to steadily bring about efflorescence and development of the DPRK-China friendship of the great new era in line with the wishes of the two parties and two peoples.
Xi Jinping and Peng Liyuan boarded the plane, bidding warm farewell to the citizens.
The plane left the airport at 15:30.
Kim Jong Un together with Ri Sol Ju waved their hands long toward the plane carrying the friendly mission of the Chinese people. -0-
