North-South Talks of Panel for Cooperation in Railway Held

Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- North-south talks of panel for cooperation in railway were held at the "house of peace" in the south side portion of Panmunjom on June 26 according to the agreement of the north-south high-level talks for the implementation of the historic Panmunjom Declaration.
Present at the talks were the north side delegation led by Kim Yun Hyok, vice-minister of Railways, and the south side delegation led by Kim Jong Ryol, vice-minister of Land and Transportation, as chief delegate.
At the talks both sides discussed the practical issues arising in reconnecting, updating and using the railways on the east and west coasts and adopted a joint press release. -0-
