Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)

Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- The flood-hit Musan Mining Complex in Musan County, North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK, has made a progress in the recovery efforts.

The Complex opened a temporary road for smooth transport of supplies and launched a vigorous work to restore all its production processes.

It removed huge amount of muck from workshops in a few days to run the operation of ore dressing process. And it finished a work to draw water from the site where the discharge conveyor was submerged.

Meanwhile, it restored destroyed or submerged excavator, rotary drill and other machines in ten days after the flood damage and carried out a project to supply power to main production processes.

As a result, the Complex, a leading quality iron-ore producer of the country, got ready to start its operation partially. -0-
