Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet warmongers started Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises on Friday, according to Yonhap News of south Korea.
Involved there were U.S. warships including Aegis destroyer which anchored at Mokpho Port, South Jolla Province on Feb. 25.
The Third Fleet of the puppet navy was keen on tactical mobile drill and joint naval shooting drill in the South Sea of Korea on the same day.
It was reported that a group of warships of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces will stage joint military exercises with the First and Second fleets of the puppet navy in the East and West Seas of Korea.
It is also planned to stage a naval interception operational drill and helicopter take-off and landing drill on an island in the South Sea of Korea on March 2.
In order to conceal the aggressive nature of Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises, the U.S. and south Korean warmongers claimed that they would start the exercises about one week later than last year with the possibility of the south-north dialogue into consideration. But they started the exercises much earlier than the plan, fully revealing their aggressive intention.
They can never evade the blame for driving the north-south relations to a catastrophe and entailing the unpredictable acute situation on the Korean peninsula.
