KPA Guided by Brilliant Commander

Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)

Pyongyang, April 29 (KCNA) -- The Korean People's Army (KPA) has met a new heyday of its development with Marshal Kim Jong Un as its supreme commander.

He was always together with Generalissimo Kim Jong Il in inspection tours of military units before he assumed the KPA supreme commandership.

After he took over the supreme commandership, he has continued his military inspection to further strengthen the politico-ideological and military might of the revolutionary armed forces.

In Juche 101 (2012) alone, he inspected air and anti-air units, naval and strategic rocket units and many other units in the wake of his inspection tour of the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards 105th Tank Division in early January.

During his inspection tours, he set forth Juche-oriented strategies and tactics, seeing to it that military training was ensured in such a way as to meet real wartime needs.

When the situation of the Korean Peninsula was driven to the brink of war owing to the U.S.-south Korea joint military exercises Key Resolve and Foal Eagle, he made inspection tours of the Panmunjom military post, Cho and Ryo islets defence detachments and other frontline military posts in the eastern and western coastal areas one after another, thus emboldening the servicepersons.

Now the KPA has turned into an elite army with Kim Jong Un's strategy and tactics and latest offensive and defensive means capable of defeating any formidable enemy.

Visiting military units, Kim Jong Un would show deep loving care for soldiers. Such love was vividly evidenced by the fact that he posed for pictures with each of all company soldiers when visiting the Kamnamu (persimmon tree) post.

His loving care and trust in servicepersons serve as the source of kinship between the supreme commander and his soldiers and the strength making all the servicepersons stalwart combatants.
