Meeting of Working People's Organizations Held

Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- Meetings of working people's organizations of the DPRK took place on Wednesday to mark the first anniversary of Kim Jong Un's election as first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK.
The meetings were held at the plaza of the Party Founding Memorial Tower, the Ponghwa Revolutionary Site and the plaza of the Tower of the Juche Idea.
Present there were Ri Yong Su, department director of the C.C., the WPK, officials concerned, officials of working people's organizations, workers and trade union members, agricultural workers and women's union members.
Reports were made at the meetings to be followed by speeches.
The reporters and speakers said that Kim Jong Un's election to the top posts of the WPK and the state marked a political event which demonstrated the fixed faith and will of all service personnel and people of the DPRK to build a thriving socialist nation on this land without fail under his leadership.
The DPRK has a sure guarantee for winning victory in the confrontation with the U.S. and in the drive to build a thriving nation, they noted, adding this is a shining fruition of his wise leadership.
They called for devotedly defending him with the unshakable faith that the DPRK is sure to win thanks to his leadership and becoming his true revolutionary comrades, comrades-in-arms.
