Contributors to Successful Satellite Launch Awarded State Decorations

Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- DPRK's scientists, technicians, workers and officials who contributed to the successful liftoff of satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2 were awarded state decorations.
Order of Kim Jong Il went to Ri Ung Won and Kim Song and five others, Kim Jong Il Prize to Ri Song Sam, Ri Chi Sun, Ri Sang Ryul, To Nam Sop, Kim Yong Nam and 15 others and Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize to Han Sok Gun, Kim Chol Gon, Jong Chol Min and 24 others.
14 people were awarded the title of People's Scientist, 27 the title of Merited Scientist, 362 Order of National Flag First Class, 340 Order of Labor, 1 260 Order of National Flag Second Class, 2 687 Order of National Flag Third Class, 644 Medal of Merit and 395 Distinguished Military Service Medal.
The decree of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK on it was promulgated on Jan. 30.
