Kim Il Sung Prize Awarded for Contribution to Socialist Culture

Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- Kim Il Sung Prize was awarded to 18 persons who made big contributions to defending and glorifying the feats of President Kim Il Sung and general secretary Kim Jong Il and building socialist culture in the Songun era and to the cycle of novels "Immortal Guidance" were awarded on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the President's birth.
A decree on awarding the prize was issued by the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly on March 29.
