Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Thursday editorially calls on all party members, service personnel and other people to significantly greet the forthcoming Fourth Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea with high political awareness and enthusiasm, keeping pace with the dynamic steps of the dear respected Kim Jong Un for big progress.
Meetings of the party committees of the Korean People's Army and all the provinces (political bureau) elected Kim Jong Un as a delegate to the Conference, fully demonstrating the single-minded unity of Songun Korea in which all the service personnel and people are rallied close around him, the editorial says, and goes on:
The Conference is of great significance in demonstrating to the full the might of the Party shining with the ideas and august names of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and remarkably raising the Party's leadership authority and its efficiency and thus bringing about a great heyday in the revolution and construction.
We should consider the undying feats Kim Jong Il performed for the revolution and construction and his behests as eternal treasures of Kim Il Sung's Korea and as important guidelines of the Party and thoroughly protect and successfully implement them.
It is none other than the party members who should take the lead in the on-going advance for a great surge.
The WPK will enjoy its higher prestige and demonstrate its increasing might when millions of party members loudly sound the drive for a great surge wherever they work and their hearts are burning with loyalty and enthusiasm to perform feats.
All fields and units are called upon to bring about a leap forward in response to the flames of Hamnam, the flames of industrial revolution in the new century and fully display the spirit of Songun Korea that when the Party is determined, the service personnel and people can do anything.
