National Photo Exhibition Draws Large Crowd of Visitors

Pyongyang, February 19 (KCNA) -- The national photo exhibition now under way at the People's Palace of Culture here is drawing a large crowd of visitors every day. It opened on February 10 in celebration of the birthday of General Secretary Kim Jong Il
On display there are hundreds of photos including those on his history of immortal revolutionary leadership.
"The Birthplace of Kim Jong Il in the Secret Camp in Mt. Paektu, the Time-honored Holy Place of the Sun", "The Platform of the Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea", "The Firework Gala Celebrating the 65th Anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea" and other photos deal with the honor and joy of the servicepersons and people of the DPRK having him at the top posts of the party, the state and the army.
Visitors pause for a long while before photos including "The Respected Supreme Commander Comrade Kim Jong Il Inspecting the Training of Soldiers of the People's Army", "The Respected Supreme Commander Comrade Kim Jong Il Giving Field Guidance to the Taedonggang Eel Breeding Farm of a Unit of the Korean People's Army", "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il Giving Field Guidance to the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex."
Jo Song Hyok, official of the Taesong District People's Committee of Pyongyang, 37, said when interviewed by KCNA:
"The photos on display here help me deeply grasp once again the immortal revolutionary exploits Kim Jong Il has performed by leading the cause of building a thriving socialist nation along the road of victory.
Only victory and glory are in store for the army and people of the DPRK as they are led by Kim Jong Il, the great man born in Mt. Paektu, who is bringing about the prosperity of the country."
