Kimjongilia Festival Draws Endless Crowd of Visitors

Pyongyang, February 19 (KCNA) -- The 15th Kimjongilia Festival is drawing an endless crowd of visitors every day. It opened here on Feb. 14.
Tens of thousands of potted Kimjongilias, the immortal flower, are on display in the venue of the festival, presenting fantastic scenery. It has been visited by at least 250,000 persons so far.
There have been 15 Kimjongilia festivals since the first one that opened here in Feb. 1997. More than 200,000 potted Kimjongilias have been on display, drawing millions of Koreans and foreigners from different countries of the world.
South Koreans, overseas Koreans and people of various strata of the world have made sincere contributions to the festival, adding significance to it as a festival common to mankind, a world festival.
Prominent personages, friendship organizations of many countries and international organizations contributed potted Kimjongilias to the festival every year. Dozens of foreign organizations are taking part in the on-going festival.
