o On September 21, North Korea officially announced that it would convene a meeting of the Workers’ Party representatives on September 28. On September 23, the country promoted Kang Seok-ju and Kim Gye-gwan to vice premier and first vice foreign minister respectively.
[Inter-Korean Issues]
o On September 18, North Korea expressed dissatisfaction, through its weekly named Tongilshinbo, with the amount of rice that South Korea provide to the country in assistance.
