Story of Kim Il Sung
Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)
Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- During a banquet celebrating the New Year Juche 63 (1974), President Kim Il Sung called a woman peasant by his side.
Grasping her hands, he appreciated her services in farming and asked her about her farm's per-hectare yield of rice and corn.
He, satisfied with her answer, introduced her to other participants in the banquet.
He then invited all of the participants to drink a toast to her health.
Given a wine cup, the woman could hardly repress her tears.
Looking at her weeping with emotion, the President asked her to take a drink first.
Much touched by the President's proposal, all the participants drank a toast to her health.
