Talks between NDC and Chinese High-ranking Military Delegation

Pyongyang, October 26 (KCNA) -- Talks between the delegation of the DPRK National Defence Commission and the Chinese high-ranking military delegation were held in Pyongyang on Tuesday.
Present there from the DPRK side were Vice Marshal of the Korean People's Army Ri Yong Ho, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea and chief of the General Staff of the KPA, KPA General Kim Jong Gak, member of the DPRK National Defence Commission and first vice director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA, Pak Jae Gyong, vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces, KPA Generals Jong Myong Do and Ri Pyong Chol, KPA Col. General Kim Myong Hwan, general officers and officers of the KPA and from the Chinese side Col. General Guo Boxiong, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China, Col. General Ma Xiaotian, deputy chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, Col. General Tong Shiping, deputy director of the General Political Department of the CPLA, Col. General Li Andong, deputy director of the General Armament Department of the CPLA, Lieut. General Zou Yinhe, deputy direc
tor of the General Logistics Department of the CPLA, Lieut. General Wang Hongyao, deputy political commissar of the Shenyang Military Area of the CPLA, Lieut. General Feng Zhaoju, deputy commander of the Jinan Military Area of the CPLA, Maj. General Cao Yumin, deputy director of the General Office of the Central Military Commission, Maj. General Qian Lihua, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Ministry of National Defence of China, Maj. General Zhou Tao, head of the Publicity Department of the General Political Department of the CPLA, general officers and officers, Liu Hongcai, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and Sun Yanfeng, military, naval and air attache of the Chinese embassy here.
At the talks both sides exchanged deep-going views on the issue of boosting the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the armies of the two countries and matters of mutual concern.
The talks took place in a comradely and friendly atmosphere.
