Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- Lots of minor hydropower stations, along with large-scale power stations, have been built in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
In the wake of the completion of the Ryesonggang Power Station No. 6 and Yonsan Army-People Power Station projects for locally-run factories, more than ten minor power stations, including the Yonha Power Station and Unchonggang Power Station No. 3, are nearing completion. Several dozen minor power stations are now under construction across the country.
They are comparatively large in generating capacity.
The Yonha Power Station, Chosan Youth Power Station No. 1 and some other minor power stations are equipped with a computer control system.
All provinces, cities and counties have pushed ahead with the construction of minor power stations, true to the slogan of the Workers' Party of Korea "Let Us Be Responsible for Thousand Years and Guarantee for Ten Thousand Years!"
