Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Show Closes

Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- The Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia show celebrating the 65th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea was closed with due ceremony at the Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Exhibition here on Thursday.

During the show it was visited by the delegates to the national celebrations of the 65th birthday of the WPK, officials of ministries and national institutions, servicepersons, working people and school youth and children and overseas compatriots and foreign guests, at least 100,000 in all.

Attending the closing ceremony were Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, An Tong Chun, minister of Culture, the congratulatory group of Koreans in Japan celebrating the 65th anniversary of the WPK, officials of armed forces organs, ministries and national institutions and working people in Pyongyang.

Prize for special class went to the Unit of the Korean People's Army led by Kim Song Dok, the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea, and others, special prize to the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, top prize and excellent prize to more than 60 units and prize of merit to several participants.

Kim Pyong Hun, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of the Unions of Art and Literature of Korea, said in his address made at the closing ceremony called on all participants to positively contribute to make the flower festivals praising the great persons to be held in the future more successful and meaningful.
