Kim Yong Nam Meets Chinese Party Delegation

Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, met and had a friendly talk with the delegation of the Communist Party of China led by Zhou Yongkang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and secretary of the Central Commission of Politics and Law of the CPC, who paid a courtesy call on him at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Saturday.
On the occasion Zhou Yongkang expressed sincere thanks to the Korean comrades for their warm hospitality and extended warm congratulations to the WPK and the Korean people on the 65th birthday of the WPK on behalf of the Communist Party and the people of China.
He referred to the fact that the WPK and the people of the DPRK have gained great successes in their efforts for socialist construction true to the Songun politics of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
He stressed that the Sino-DPRK friendship provided by President Kim Il Sung together with Chairman Mao Zedong and Premier Zhou Enlai is a traditional friendship forged in blood, adding that no one can break this.
