Koreans Called on to Remain True to "By Our Nation Itself"

Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)

Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- The idea of "By our nation itself" serves as an unwavering faith and common idea of independent reunification of all the Koreans in the June 15 era of reunification, says Rodong Sinmun Saturday in a signed article.

It goes on:

The embodiment of the idea of "By our nation itself" provides a sure guarantee for independent reunification and indicates a basic way for achieving national reconciliation and unity.

The issue of Korea's reunification should be solved by the Koreans in the north and the south, its masters, by their own efforts free from any outside interference. This is the main spirit that runs through the idea of "By our nation itself".

The Koreans made landmark successes unprecedented in the history of inter-Korean relations under the banner of "By our nation itself" in the June 15 era of reunification. This clearly testifies to the validity and vitality of the north-south joint declarations that paved a wide avenue for settling the issue of Korea's reunification by the concerted efforts of the Koreans.

The idea of "By our nation itself" represents the idea of great national unity. The great national unity is the mainstay of Korea's reunification.

Inexhaustible is the strength of the nation united close as one under the banner of the idea of "By our nation itself". This serves as a driving force strong enough to shatter any obstructive moves of the anti-reunification forces at home and abroad and successfully push forward the cause of Korea's reunification.

Those forces are getting evermore undisguised in their moves to block the advance of the cause of national reunification but the Koreans remain unshakable in their faith and will to achieve it without fail guided by the idea of "By our nation itself."
