Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Friday in a signed article praises President Kim Il Sung as a peerlessly distinguished thinker and theoretician and outstanding statesman who made a history of building a new independent power.
The immortal feats the President performed in the history of power building lie in that he built a new-type revolutionary power strictly based on the independent and popular character, the first of its kind in history, and reinforced the people's power as a powerful weapon for socialist construction which stands firm in any storm and stress and built it into an ideal political organization which remains vital not only in the present era but also in the distant future, the article notes, and goes on:
The President propounded unique ideas and theories on the power building on the principle of independence, not wedded to the established theories and experience, and built a new Juche-type people's power in conformity with the aspiration of the people and the specific conditions of the country.
The people's power built and strengthened by the President represents the popular masses' independent rights, organizes the creative ingenuity and activities, plays the role of a master responsible for the people's living and protects their independent and creative life.
The people's power is an iron-willed political organization which regards it as the fundamental principle of its activities to ensure strong sense of organization and monolithic character. It, at the same time, regards the political method based on the love and trust, unity and cooperation as the basic mode of its activities.
The immortal feats the President performed in the history of building a new independent power will always remain shining along with the prosperous DPRK dynamically dashing ahead toward the eminence of a thriving socialist nation, demonstrating its dignity for its independence and Songun, concludes the article.
