S. Korean Warmongers' Ridiculous Farce Slammed
Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)
Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- The south Korean bellicose forces recently announced that they would stage the event of reenacting the "Inchon landing operation" in the waters off Wolmi Island, the largest in six decades.
Minju Joson Wednesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:
The above-said event is nothing but a farce of the pro-U.S. sycophants and lackeys as it is aimed to whitewash the U.S. imperialists' history of war of aggression.
The "Inchon landing operation" was a total failure from a military point of view. But the south Korean puppet forces are going to stage the above-said charade, describing it as the Normandy landing operation. They have gone the lengths of doing so not simply because of their lack of knowledge.
Lurking behind this is a sinister aim sought by the group of traitors to please their American master and stoke the consciousness of confrontation with fellow countrymen among people.
The recent measures taken by the DPRK side for national reconciliation and unity are evoking lively response among south Koreans. However, the ultra-right conservative forces in south Korea are speaking ill of them, casting doubt about the "north's sincerity" and attributing them to "its internal situation." The above-said event projected by them against this backdrop cannot be construed otherwise than part of the despicable moves to escalate confrontation with fellow countrymen.
What the group of traitors is seeking is not national reconciliation and unity but to do harm to the compatriots at any cost.
The group would be well advised to halt such acts of treachery as sycophancy towards the U.S. and the escalation of confrontation with fellow countrymen, bearing in mind that the army and people of the DPRK are closely watching its behavior.
