Floral Tribute Paid to Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Floral baskets were placed before the statues of President Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the 62nd birthday of the DPRK.

Servicepersons of the Korean People's Army, working people of all strata, school youth and children and overseas Koreans visited the statue of Kim Il Sung on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang.

Seen before the statue was a floral basket from General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Placed before the statue were floral baskets in the name of the Party, armed forces and power organs, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, organs of science, education, culture and arts, public health, media, industrial establishments, schools, etc.

Also laid was a floral basket in the name of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.

The participants paid tribute to him in humble reverence.

Floral baskets, bouquets and flowers were also placed before the statues of Kim Il Sung in significant places in the capital and different parts of the country.
