11th National Invention and New Technology Exhibition Closes

Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- The 11th national invention and new technology exhibition which had been under way since Aug. 16 closed with due ceremony at the Three-Revolution Exhibition on Monday.
On display at the exhibition were achievements made by officials, scientists and technicians from across the country in the course of their brisk mass technical innovation movement for putting the national economy on a Juche-oriented, modern and scientific basis.
While the exhibition was under way there were technology exchange, intellectual products circulation and technological information service and measures were taken to introduce scientific and technological achievements substantially conductive to building an economic power.
Present there were Jon Ha Chol, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Kim Yong Jin, chairman of the Education Commission, Jang Chol, president of the State Academy of Sciences, officials concerned, scientists and technicians.
