US Reckless Moves for Modernization of Military Hardware under Fire

Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)

Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- The U.S. bellicose forces are now putting spurs to the development of a flying submarine and a micro-flying object to be used for street fighting. The U.S. imperialists are the warmaniacs to be condemned by all people as they abuse latest scientific and technological achievements for the modernization of war hardware though they should be used for the development of human civilization.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes this in a signed commentary.

It goes on:

The U.S. talks a lot about "peace" and "disarmament" whenever a chance presents itself, but this is nothing but a clumsy window dressing to cover up their true colors as the arch criminal disturbing world peace and security and escalating the arms race.

It is an invariable strategic goal and wild ambition of the U.S. to dominate the world by force of arms.

The U.S. remains unchanged in this wild ambition despite the passage of times and replacement of generations.

The present U.S. administration pretends to be "interested" in the global peace and security, talking about "changes" and "multilateral cooperative diplomacy." However, its true colors as a war maniac is being brought to bolder relief as the days go by.

Arms buildup and modernization of war hardware are incompatible with world peace and security.

The U.S. imperialists' reckless moves for the modernization of war hardware are anti-peace ones as they are fanning up worldwide arms race and military confrontation and straining the international situation.

With no rhetoric can the U.S. cover up its true colors as the arch criminal disturbing global peace and security and sparking off a new international arms race.

History will certainly mete out a stern punishment to the U.S. imperialists for their criminal acts one day.
