Floral Tribute Paid to Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Servicepersons, working people of all strata and school youth and children laid floral baskets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung in different parts of the country on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of his demise.
A crowd of people visited his statue on Mansu Hill.
Seen before the statue was a floral basket from General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
Laid before the statue were floral baskets in the name of the party, armed forces and power organs, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, the bodies of science, education, culture and art, public health and media, factories, enterprises, schools, etc. and the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, overseas compatriots and foreigners.
The participants paid tribute to the statue, calling back on the brilliant revolutionary life and the noble exploits of Kim Il Sung.
A Changbaixian delegation of Jilin Province of China placed floral baskets before the statue of Kim Il Sung at the Victorious Battle of Pochonbo Memorial Tower in Hyesan City of Ryanggang Province and paid tribute to it.
