Story of Kim Il Sung

Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)

Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- One day in June Juche 55 (1966) President Kim Il Sung visited the Jangsuwon Cooperative Farm in Samsok District, Pyongyang, in the evening.

The President told an official of the farm that he wanted to learn about farmers' food condition, so he came to the farm in suppertime.

When Kim Il Sung arrived at a house at the entrance of the village, the house owner was surprised by his visit.

With his face beaming with smile, the president stepped into the kitchen and opened an iron pot to know what was prepared for supper.

After tasting bean paste vegetable soup boiling in the pot, he opened large and small jars one after another in a corner of the kitchen.

He was satisfied with the jars full of rice and foodstuffs, including soysauce, soybean paste and salt.
