Signature Campaign for Peace on Korean Peninsula Launched in S. Korea

Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- The general council of the Christian Presbyterian Church and the Headquarters of the Peace Community Movement of south Korea launched a signature campaign for peace on the Korean Peninsula on June 17, according to the south Korean CBS.
The organizations said that the situation on the Korean Peninsula is so dangerous that a war may break out any time.
They stressed that the Lee Myung Bak "government" should roll back the policy for confrontation with the DPRK and positively opt for the peace on the peninsula.
They declared that they would conduct the signature campaign among 10,000 Christians and other citizens till early August at the first phase.
