Documentary Film Screened

Pyongyang, June 14 (KCNA) -- Korean documentary film "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il Meets with President Kim Dae Jung" was screened at the People's Palace of Culture on Monday.
The film was appreciated by senior state officials, chairpersons of friendly parties, officials of public organizations, ministries and national institutions, members of the North Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration and the North Headquarters of Pominryon and Pomchonghakryon, working people here. It was also watched by the chief of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, Rev. Han Sang Ryol, a pro-reunification figure of south Korea, overseas compatriots, diplomatic envoys of various countries and members of the military attaches corps here
The film impressively shows that the north-south summit was provided for the first time in the history of national division and the June 15 joint declaration was published under the seasoned and tested leadership of Kim Jong Il who devoted his tireless efforts to realizing President Kim Il Sung's instructions for national reunification.
It contains scenes showing Kim Jong Il warmly greeting Kim Dae Jung at the airport and signing the joint declaration which reflects the aspiration and desire of all the compatriots for achieving the sacred cause of reunification by the concerted efforts of the nation.
