Release of the White Paper on South Korean Human rights
The National Reunification Institute of North Korea released the White Paper on South Korean Human Rights. It insisted that the White Paper was released to indict the South Korean conservative clique for having reduced South Korea to the land with the worst human rights record. Criticism on the dissipation of the SK-NK Workers’ Rally
The central committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions announced a statement and criticized that the May 1 NK-SK Workers’ Unification Rally was dissipated because of the South Korean government’s interruption. (Korean Central News Agency on Apr. 29)

The North to criticize the nuclear policy of the U.S.
North Korea criticized in commentaries of Rodong Shinmun that the U.S. insists nuclear disarmament but secretly increases nuclear threats to the world (Apr. 26). The North also called for the conclusion of a peace treaty to end the legacy of the cold war on the Korean peninsula (Apr. 28).
