Army Day Celebrated

Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) -- Dancing parties of youth and students were held in different parts of the country on Sunday, the 78th birthday of the Korean People's Army.
In Pyongyang they presented beautiful sea of dancers to the tune of song "Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung" at dancing venues, including the plazas of the Party Founding Memorial Tower and the April 25 House of Culture, in profound reverence for President Kim Il Sung who founded the genuine revolutionary army for the people and defeated two imperialisms in one generation.
The youngsters were full of deep reverence for General Secretary Kim Jong Il as they enthusiastically danced to the tune of songs "Let's Sing of General Dear to People" and "Our General Is Best".
The dancing parties demonstrated the firm faith and will of youth and students to display their wisdom and vigor in building a thriving nation.
Similar parties were also held in other parts of the country.
Officials and members of the Democratic Women's Union of Korea, too, presented a dancing party at the plaza of the Arch of Triumph on Sunday on the same occasion.
