12th Kimilsungia Festival Closes

Pyongyang, April 19 (KCNA) -- The 12th Kimilsungia Festival was closed with due ceremony at the Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Exhibition on Monday.

During the festival its venue was visited by servicepersons, working people and school youth and children and overseas compatriots and foreign guests everyday. The festival clearly showed that Kimilsungias would remain in full bloom forever, carrying deep reverence of all people in the era of independence.

Attending the closing ceremony were Yang Hyong Sop, Kim Ki Nam, officials of the Cabinet, ministries, national institutions and working people's organizations, servicepersons, working people, school youth and children, members of the delegation of Koreans in Japan and overseas compatriots.

Present on invitation were Charge d'Affaires ad Interim Fitri Riyanti and officials of the Indonesian embassy here, Abdoulaye Diallo, representative of the Guinean Kimilsungia Greenhouse, and other foreign guests.

Its top prize was awarded to three units and special prize to the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, the Indonesian embassy and the Guinean Kimilsungia Greenhouse.

There was an appreciation of the participants.
