Kimilsungia Festival Continues

Pyongyang, April 17 (KCNA) -- The 12th Kimilsungia Festival, which opened on April 12, is going on at the Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Exhibition in Pyongyang, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, to commemorate the 98th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
Displayed at the festival, the theme of which is "Our Leader, Sun of Humankind, Immortal with Kimilsungia", are tens of thousands of Kimilsungia flowers presented by ministries, national institutions, military organs, working people from all social strata, students, schoolchildren, foreign diplomatic missions here, including the Indonesian embassy, friendship and solidarity organizations, and so on.
Seen in the center of the venue are a picture of the President waving to the cheering crowd, a miniature of his old home in Mangyongdae and a floral basket and Korean map made of Kimilsungia flowers.
The exhibited flowers reflect deep reverence of the Korean people and the world's revolutionary people for the peerlessly great man.
They also show that the revolutionary history of the President has continued.
During the festival horticulturists, scientists and florists at home and abroad are sharing with each other achievements and experience gained in Kimilsungia cultivation and propagation.
