Floral Baskets Laid before Statues of Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- Floral baskets were laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung in different parts of the country on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.
Servicepersons of the Korean People's Army, people from all walks of life and school youth and children in the city visited the statue of the President on Mansu Hill.
Seen standing before the statue of the President was a floral basket from Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and the supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.
Floral baskets in the name of the party, armed forces, power bodies, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the KPA, organs at different levels, industrial establishments, farms, schools, etc. in the city and flowers were laid before the statue.
Servicepersons, working people and youth and students paid tribute to the President in humble reverence.
Floral baskets were also laid before the statues of the President at different units in the city.
Servicepersons of the KPA and people across the country laid floral baskets, bouquets and flowers before the statues of the President in their residential areas.
The military attaches corps here also laid a floral basket before the statue of the President on Mansu Hill on Thursday.
