US Scheme for Preemptive Nuclear Attack on DPRK

Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)

Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- It has been reported that "OPLAN 8010," a comprehensive operation plan of the U.S. Strategic Command supervising its forces' nuclear strategy in a unified way, includes a detailed scenario for mounting preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK and other countries after designating them as "potential targets for nuclear attack".

It has also been disclosed that the U.S. administration, in a new report on nuclear policy now in the making, is contemplating the development of a new type offensive weapon for preemptive attack to cope with "missile threat" from the DPRK.

These facts go to prove that the U.S. scheme for preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK has entered the stage of implementation, Minju Joson says in a signed commentary today.

It is exactly the U.S. nuclear strategy to realize its design for domination over the world by monopolizing nukes and reigning supreme in the field of strategic offensive arms, the commentary says, and goes on:

The DPRK is the main target of the U.S. in carrying into practice its strategy for preemptive nuclear attack.

The U.S. has worked out the war scenario aimed at preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK from long ago and is watching for a chance to put it into practice while steadily renovating it.

The U.S. seeks to put the whole of the Korean Peninsula under its control through such surprising attack on the DPRK and turn it into a strategic base for military domination and control over Asia.

Needless to say, the ongoing Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises of the U.S. warmongers and the south Korean puppet forces are a nuclear war game intended to make a surprise preemptive attack on the DPRK.

The U.S. is mistaken if it calculates that it will be able to attain its aim of aggression by a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK.

The U.S. bellicose forces had better stop their rash acts, clearly mindful that such adventurous attempt is as foolish an act as precipitating their own destruction.
